An incredible visit to the Basque region
We had a wonderful time on our private tour of the Basque Coast with The Local Way. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip to San Sebastián.
Alex was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and just really easy to spend the day with. What made the experience even more genuine is that Alex is from the Basque region, so we were not just learning about the area, we were experiencing it through someone who actually grew up there and has a real connection to the culture, the history and the people. It felt more like exploring the Basque Coast with a local friend than being on a formal guided tour.
We saw beautiful places, learned a lot, and never felt rushed. If you are in San Sebastián and want to experience the Basque Coast in a more personal, authentic way, I highly recommend The Local Way and definitely ask for Alex. Great experience and a truly memorable day.

A fun and interesting day out with Alex
I booked this tour last minute and had a great experience with Alex! Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and the region. He knew exactly where to go for great photos (and to buy chocolate and macarons!). I would definitely recommend it if you want to see a lot in one day and learn from a local!
